Day 01 Arrive Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai, the Commercial capital of India. After completing formalities with customs and immigration, you will be received by our representative with Traditional Indian Welcome (with garlands).

Mumbai is the capital of Maharastra State and the gateway to this beguiling subcontinent. Of the four great cities in India, Mumbai is the most cosmopolitan, spear heading India's move in to the 21st Century.

Day 02 In Mumbai.

After breakfast you embark on the sightseeing trip of World famous Elephanta Caves and Mumbai city.

Elephanta Caves: A must for any visitor to India. Mute testimony of the Golden Age in Indian history during the Gupta period and built to honour Lord Shiva. Elephanta is a 3 kms long elongated island, consisting of two hills separated by a valley. The caves with rock-cut figures and carvings are believed to be carved by the sculptors of Ajanta or Udayagiri. In the afternoon the guest enjoy the sightseeing tour of the Mumbai City:

Mumbai City : includes a visit the Gateway of India-erected to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911; Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Marine Drive, Chowpatty beach, Hanging Gardens and the Crawford Market.

After completing the sightseeing return back to the Hotel for Overnight.


Day 03 Mumbai – Aurangabad

After breakfast transfer to domestic airport to connect the flight for Aurangabad. Aurangabad : The ancient city of Aurangabad is located in the northern part of the state of Maharashtra in the western region of India. It is 403 km away from Mumbai and is encircled by hills. Situated on the banks of the Kham River, this historical city is famous for its medieval monuments and cultural heritage.

On arrival check in to the hotel.

Afternoon embark on the half day trip of Ellora Caves.

Ellora Caves: 29 Kms, North West of Aurangabad lies the west facing caves – best to be visited in the afternoon. These caves relate the story of Evolution of Buddhism
(Caves 1 to 12), Hinduism (caves 13-29) and Jainism,(Caves – 30- 34).

Return to the hotel after the sightseeing. Evening free at leisure.

Day 04 In Aurangabad

After breakfast at hotel you embark on your full day sightseeing trip of Ajanta Caves

Ajanta Caves : 109 Km north – east of Aurangabad , the Ajanta Caves were discovered by the British troops in 1819. These caves consist of 24 monasteries and 05 Temples some of which are over 2000 years Old. The story of Lord Buddha is depicted in the frescoes with remarkable vividly.

Day 05 Aurangabad – Hyderabad ( Approx 400 Kms / 08 Hours )

After breakfast today drive to Hyderabad. Upon arrival check in to the hotel.

Hyderabad : After independence, Hyderabad State was brought into the Indian Union. In 1956 Hyderabad became the capital of Andra Pradesh. It is India's sixth largest city and a major industrial and educational center. While Telugu is the official and native language, a dialect Urdu called 'Deccan' is widely spoken. Usage of Marati, Kannada, Tamil and English has given the city a multilingual character.

Day 06 In Hyderabad

After breakfast you embark on your full day trip of the city which would include your visit to

Charminar is a major landmark in the city is to state the obvious, to repeat a clichι. The Charminar is an imposing monument, which reflects the glory of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. It is a massive square structure, 56 m (183.72 ft) high and 30 m (98.42 ft) wide. This monument is built entirely of granite and lime mortar. It has 4 minarets one on each of its corners.

Salarjung Museum is situated on the southern bank of the river Musi, the Salar Jung Museum is not far from the other important monuments of the old city. Golconda Fort is one of the most magnificent fortress complexes in India. The history of Golconda Fort dates back to the early 13th century, when this south eastern part of the country was ruled by the Kakatiyas. It is built on a granite hill 120 metres high, and is surrounded by crenellated ramparts constructed of large masonry blocks weighing several tones.

Falaknuma Palace is situated in Falaknuma, about 4 km South of Charminar. It stands on a hill overlooking the city of Hyderabad. It is a magnificent palace. Falaknuma served as the royal guest house for the rulers of Hyderabad, King George and Queen Mary, king Edward-VIII, then Prince of Wale. Falaknuma palace is a masterpiece designed by an Italian architect. The marble used was specially imported from Italy.
After completing the sightseeing return to the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Day 07 Hyderabad – Gulbarga Via Bidar ( Approx 250 Kms/06 Hours )

After breakfast drive to Gulbarga enroute visit Bidar. Upon arrival sightseeing of
Bidar Fort : The Bidar Fort, built in 1428 by Ahmed Shah Bahmani, stands proudly epitomizing the grandeur of the Bahmani dynasty. Five darwazas (gates) with imposing bastions lead into a little town nestling within the ramparts. The Rangin Mahal, the royal residence, was built by Ali Barid (1542-1580) and features exquisite wood carvings and fascinating glazed tile mosaics.

Tombs of Bahmani Rulers : The tombs of Bahmani rulers in Ashtur, Bidar were erected from 1436 to 1535. The two most impressive are those of the ninth and tenth Bahmani rulers, Ahmad Shah I and Allauddin Shah II. The tomb of Ahmad Shah I has a dome rising over 30m high. The interior of these square tombs have beautifully colored and gilded paintings on the ceilings.
Continue the drive to Gulbarga.

Gulbarga : Gulbarga, city in southern India, in northeastern Karnataka state, located on the Karnataka Plateau. Gulbarga is primarily a regional market and service center. The city was built around a stone fort (completed in 1367) that remains mostly intact today.

Day 08 Gulbarga – Bijapur ( Approx 175 Kms / 05 Hours )

After breakfast drive to Bijapur .
Bijapur : Think of Bijapur and the first thing that comes to mind is the Gol Gumbaz - the tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah. Gol Gumbaz boasts of the second largest dome in the world. 44 metres in diameter, this dome forms a highly sensitive echo-chamber. The slightest whisper echoes seven times over and the tick of a clock held at one end can be distinctly heard at the opposite end - 125 feet away.

Day 09 Bijapur – Badami ( Approx 135 Kms /04 Hours )

Gol Gumbaz : The most important attraction in Bijapur, Gol Gumbaz is an architectural wonder and the largest dome in the world. The dome dominates miles of area by its sheer size and it is difficult to suppress the urge to see the dome once you are there. Ibrahim Roza :Though Gol Gumbaz is a better-known structure, the most splendid structure in Bijapur is, however, the Ibrahim Roza and the accompanying mosque. The tomb of the illustrious Adil Shahi Sultan Ibrahim II (1580-1627), the structure has been lavishly praised by the art historians as well as the common tourists alike.

JamaMasjid : Built in 1686, during the rule of Adil Shah I, the Jami Masjid of Bijapur is a stately structure that is sober and massive. The huge dome of the Masjid is onion-shaped and rests on the beams of a grand hall divided into 45 compartments. The Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb made some additions to the original corridors on the northern and southern sides and put a gateway on the eastern side.

After sightseeing drive to Badami.

Badami : Formerly known as Vatapi, Badami is a scenic town located in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka State. In Badami you can see rock cut cave temples, the gateways, and the inscriptions on the pillars that also exemplify awesome architecture. The city was founded by Pulkeshin I, The Lion King. Under him, the city was translated into a hub of rock cut caves along with Aihole and Pattadakal. This interesting place in Karnataka is full of artificial lake, temples and the renowned Jain and Hindu caves in the sandstone hills.

Four cave temples, which are the glorious example of rich cultural heritage of Karnataka. Cave I is dedicated to Lord Shiva, having pillars with square bases and carvings on the upper part. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his carnations, two stone doorkeepers guard the 2nd cave temple. Third cave temple is too dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is located at the base of the rock face and has magnificent faηade. Fourth cave temple is believed to be a later construction and is dedicated to the Jain deities.

Afterwards drive to Hospet.

Hospet : Hospet in Karnataka is an ideal haven for those who want to visit the architectural remains of the temples of Vijayanagar Empire. On all sides of Hospet, you can see large hills made of granite boulders.

Day 11 Hospet – Hampi - Hospet

After breakfast you embark on your excursion to Hampi

Hampi : Once a part of Vijayanagar Empire, this small town evokes medieval village amidst numerous shrines and temples that is still an active place of worship. The crowded historical buildings hint at the centuries old heritage of the village, for it is some 450 years since Hampi's grandeur came to an end as the center of the Vijayanagar Empire. The modern Hampi has many reminiscences of the older Hampi, and they relish the older and peaceful times of this amazing place. Vittala temple is a World Heritage monument. Incredible sculptural work of the temple is a pinnacle of Vijayanagar art. Virupaksha Temple is situated at the western end of Hampi. This temple is one of the earliest structures in the city.

Day 12 Hospet - Hubli ( Approx 180 Kms / 04 Hours)

After breakfast you drive to Hubli to connect your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai received at the domestic airport and are transferred to the International airport to connect the flight back home
